Steve Ellison, Organist 

Steve Ellison is a native of Easley.  He and his wife, Mary Beth, reside in Easley with their Quaker parrot, Dewey, and their Shorkie, Colonel.  Steve has served as organist, choral director, and handbell director in churches across Pickens, Oconee, and Greenville counties.  Having attended Clemson and Furman universities and other professional schools, Steve has studied piano and organ privately with Juda Brown Addis, Dr. Manness, Judy Bonham, and Dr. Jackie Griffith.  He has also participated in Organ Master Classes with such artists as Dr. Adam Ward, Dr. Edie Johnson, Dr. Michael Burkhardt, and Dr. Charles Tompkins.  In addition to his musical background, Steve also holds state licenses as a Master Hair Care Specialist and Teacher under the SC State Board of Barber Examiners, and holds the title of Colonel as a licensed Auctioneer with specialized training as a Certified Estate Specialist.  His hobbies include genealogy and collecting glassware.
