Vacation Bible School info

We have a very active and growing elementary Sunday School program that is being led by an enthusiastic group of teachers. We believe that Sunday School can touch the lives of everyone in the congregation - from the very young to the very old. Indeed, many of us make friendships that last a lifetime in our Sunday School classes.
Atrium One and Atrium Two - Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Program. The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is an approach to the religious formation of children. It is rooted in the Bible and follows the liturgical calendar of our church. Children gather in an “atrium,” a room prepared for them, which contains simple yet beautiful materials that they use.
Please contact Dottie Lamance, for additional information about Atrium One
or Markley Hidde regarding Atrium Two.
Children ages 3-5 participate in Atrium One
Grades First - Third participate in Atrium Two
This year in addition to Atrium Two a Traditional Sunday School is being offered for our Third Graders/Young Fourth Graders and Older Fourth/Fifth Graders. Rock Solid: Building a Heart of Faith is the curriculum that they study. Rock Solid invites the children to know God and build their faith in a very personal way through activities, crafts, stories, and games. With Rock Solid, our children will have the chance to meet God each Sunday and open themselves to a life-changing transformation.
On Sunday afternoons, Children’s Choir, grades K-5, begins at 6:00 p.m. Those children K-5th grade meet in Wesley Hall. Both groups meet together for Disciple Kids at 6:45 p.m. This is an excellent opportunity for children to meet their church friends and develop new relationships in the church environment. As always, we encourage children to invite their friends to join them.
